Where I'm From Poetry Art
In this [pre-project], we made a poem intended to try to portray 'where we're from', in any way we could think of. My poem focused more on my frame of mind and my mental background.

'Defining Race' Mind Map
We read a piece by Beverly Tatum on race and its definition. We then made mind maps to visualize our thought processes.
When reading things or taking in information, I question things. I take everything with a grain of salt. Accordingly, I decided to draw a salt crystal on it. The bubbles were just items that I found intriguing.

Current Events Research
We did research on a current event(how surprising) and then did a presentation to our class based on said research. My group focused on the recent earthquakes in Mexico.
